About
the coach

John Stewart’s childhood in Ireland laid the foundation for his lifelong involvement in soccer, and his love for the game was shaped during his early years playing soccer in Europe. He competed from a young age, leading the soccer clubs he participated in during his adolescent years in New York to championship victories.

In college, he became a key leader for the Roberts Wesleyan University men’s soccer program, a D2 collegiate program based out of Rochester, NY. He served as a team captain for three years during his collegiate career. Known for his versatility, he contributed across multiple positions, providing reliability, work ethic, and tactical understanding wherever the team needed him and primarily performed as a midfielder. His leadership and commitment set a strong standard on and off the soccer field. Since graduating, John has completed one full Ironman and five Half Ironman races, reflecting the same dedication and competitive mindset he brought to his playing career.
